First Snow Of The Year

Gazing out my window

The year's first snow 

Whispering through the glass

Inviting me back

To my childhood

Memories

Drifting down to the ground

Snowman and Snow Angels

Snowballs and Snow Forts 

Maybe E.E. Cummings was right,

"The show doesn't give a 

soft white damn

whom it touches."

But I do!

Snowflakes

Like family & friends

Unique 

Fragile

But look at the beauty

Created

When they stick together!
